My Story
Apuki was born from a deeply personal journey, from helping my Dad navigate life after stomach cancer and major surgery, to experiencing my own challenges with a complicated pregnancy and gestational diabetes.
Three years of learning and researching nutrition taught me that healthy living does not need to be complicated. Apuki is my way of making nutrition, everyday wellbeing and healthy habits simpler and more practical, while helping women take greater control of their health and wellbeing.

Our Mission
Our mission is simple.
To help people, especially women take greater control of their health and wellbeing through simple nutrition, practical products, and everyday habits that make living well easier.
No perfection. No overwhelm.
Just simple steps that help you feel your best. And you don't need to have it all figured out.
You just need the slightest motivation to start.
Why I started Apuki?
I didn't set out to create a wellness brand.
It started with my Dad.
Three years ago, my Dad was diagnosed with stomach cancer.
Suddenly, food was no longer just food.
It became something our family needed to understand.
- What should he eat?
- How much should he eat?
- What would his body tolerate?
- How could we support him through what was ahead?
Then came major surgery to remove his entire stomach, followed by 12 rounds of chemotherapy.
Life changed.
His relationship with food changed. Our family routines changed. The way we thought about health changed.
And I found myself wanting answers.
Not just quick answers from the internet, but a deeper understanding of nutrition, the body and how the choices we make every day can influence the way we feel and live.
Then my own health journey made it even more personal.
I experienced a complicated pregnancy and gestational diabetes.
For the first time, I experienced firsthand how closely food, health and everyday life can be connected.
I started paying closer attention.
I started asking more questions.
And I started learning.
What began as an effort to better understand nutrition for my family became four years of studying, researching and learning about nutrition, healthy habits and how food fits into real life.
But the more I learned, the more I realised something important.
Knowing what to do and actually doing it are two very different things.
There is no shortage of nutrition information available to us.
Macros. Micros. Calories. Ingredients. Labels. Meal plans. Recipes. Trends. Conflicting advice.
It can become overwhelming very quickly.
And when you are already managing work, family, children, relationships, responsibilities and a hundred other things, being told to simply “eat healthy” isn't particularly helpful.
You don't need more information. You need information that makes sense for your life.
That realisation became the foundation of Apuki.
I believe nutrition should be practical, personal and simple enough to fit into real life.
Because healthy living isn't about perfection or following endless rules. It's about understanding what works for you, making better choices with confidence and building habits you can actually maintain.
That's why Apuki exists.
Apuki means simplicity in Newari.
My goal is to make nutrition easier to understand and easier to put into practice.
Whether you want to lose weight, gain weight, build muscle, maintain your weight or simply feel better about the way you eat, I want to help you understand the why, not just tell you what to do.
Together, we can turn nutrition into practical steps that work around your lifestyle, your goals and your everyday reality.
Because your life is unique. Your approach to nutrition should be too.
A simpler way to live well.
Apuki is about learning without overwhelm, making progress without perfection and creating healthy habits that work in real life.
Sometimes, the biggest change doesn't come from doing more.
It comes from simplifying what you already know and making it possible to actually do.
That is the heart of Apuki.
